    About Alexa

    Alexa is from Jacksonville, Florida. She came to UWF as a student majoring in psychology. She chose to attend UWF because she wanted to live in a new city. She loves to rock climb, take yoga classes, travel, hike, go to the beach, and try new vegan restaurants.

    What's the best part of your job?

    The best part of my job is assisting students with their next step after high school.

    What's the best thing about UWF?

    The campus community! UWF feels like my home away from home.

    Why did you come to UWF?

    I loved the UWF campus and the Pensacola beaches!

    What's your favorite spot on campus?

    My favorite spot on campus is the nature trail. I enjoy going to the nature trail to walk and canoe. I also usually see a bunch of cute dogs!

    What makes Pensacola special?

    I think Pensacola is special because it has a small city vibe but a lot of fun things to do. There are fun events like Gallery Night, food truck and yoga festivals, and various markets.

    What can students expect at UWF?

    Students can expect to be a part of a friendly community.

    What are the top questions you get asked about UWF?

    One of the most common questions I get asked about UWF is “Where is UWF located?” UWF is located in Pensacola, about 20 minutes away from our beautiful white-sand beaches and 15 minutes away from downtown.
