Admissions sat down with Jaden to learn a little more about who she is and what she loves about UWF. Hear from her perspective to learn more about UWF.

    About Jaden

Jaden was born in Toronto and raised in Pensacola. After graduating from Pensacola High School, she attended Trinity University in San Antonio, where she double majored in economics and religious studies. Following her undergraduate studies, Jaden pursued a master’s degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science. At these universities, she created lifelong memories and friendships while gaining the education she needed to excel in her career. Back in Pensacola, Jaden continues to enjoy making pottery, going to farmers markets, and spending time with family.

What's the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is helping students navigate their journey to college. The transition can feel overwhelming, and I enjoy working with students to explore their options and find the path that feels right for them.

What's the best thing about UWF?

The best thing about UWF is that there truly is something for everyone, and the people genuinely care. Students often tell me that they feel supported by their peers, professors, and staff. While UWF is larger than the schools I attended, its greatest strength is that students still feel seen, valued, and supported.

Why did you come to UWF?

I came to UWF because I wanted to continue working closely with students. Before this role, I worked with middle and high school students in Chicago and discovered that helping young people through this transitional stage of life is what I am most passionate about. Returning to Pensacola, a place I love, made the opportunity even more meaningful.

What's your favorite spot on campus?

Anywhere with a bench — in the sun during the winter and in the shade during the summer.

    What makes Pensacola special?

Pensacola is a very special place. It’s a small city with a strong sense of community and always something to do or be a part of. Between the vibrant local art scene and the beautiful natural surroundings, it’s a place that truly feels like home.
