Undergraduate Admissions Application
Attention: Freshman Summer and Fall 2026 Applicants
The freshman application capacity for Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 has been reached. Term changes to or from Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 will only be considered under extenuating circumstances, including, but not limited to, serious illness, family emergencies, natural disasters, or military commitments. Requests for term changes, along with a statement outlining the extenuating circumstances, can be submitted to Meghan Smith, associate director, at msmith8@uwf.edu.
Application Types
- Freshman: For high school seniors or first-time college students pursuing an undergraduate degree. Students who earn college credit before graduating high school are still considered freshmen for admissions purposes.
- Transfer: For students who have completed 12 or more semester hours of transferable college credit after high school graduation.
- Readmission: For former UWF degree-seeking students who have been absent for three or more consecutive academic semesters (including summer) or recent UWF graduates wishing to return as degree-seeking students.
- Non-Degree: For students not seeking a degree at UWF but interested in taking classes for personal leisure, graduate school preparation/professional development, pursue a certificate program, or as transient students.
